Manifesto
My work examines the tension between predictability and chaos. After years of inhabiting very controlled environments, I have learned to free myself through a destructive process on the canvas. I shred the surface of contemporary media, and along with it, the idea of memory, context, and perfectionism. What remains is an invitation to the subconscious to make sense of the artifacts that remain.

Compositions
African Art. Fresco. Cubism. Surrealism. Décollage. Outsider Art. Abstraction Expressionism. Street Art. Comic Books. Video Games. My work is inspired by, and analogous to, the artists, movements, and techniques that have captured the world's imagination for the last five hundred years. My approach to composition is indeliberate. Instead, I invite the viewer to bring their own meaning to the experience.
